DayZ Effect Area Designer
Draw contaminated zones, mist, heat and other effect areas on the DayZ map and export them to cfgEffectArea.json with the right positions, radii and particle settings.
What effect areas are
Effect areas are the toxic gas zones and other environmental hazards defined in cfgEffectArea.json. Static areas are always present; dynamic gas events are spawned by the Central Economy. Each area has a centre, a radius, a height range and the particles and damage it applies.
How to use it
Click on the map to place an area, drag the radius, and pick a preset such as contaminated gas or mist. The designer shows the area to scale against towns and roads so it covers exactly what you intend. Export the JSON and replace the file in your mission folder.
